Forty-six regeneration schemes throughout London will receive a slice of £300 million over the next seven years in the largest allocation of cash by the Mayor of London, Ken Livingstone, since taking office on 3 July. 

The London Development Agency (LDA) is tackling widespread skills shortages, mismatches between the skills employers need, and exclusion and disadvantage in the capital's job market through its £4.4 million skills development fund (SDF).
