The London Development Agency (LDA) is committed to listening and learning from its partners and stakeholders to ensure its strategies reflect London's social and economic development needs.
We consult on a wide range of issues, from regional and business sector projects and policies, to London-wide strategies and local regeneration and development plans.
We have a consultation framework to help shape, inform and guide our future work in order to meet the following LDA strategic consultation objectives:
- achieve high quality decision-making and resource allocation informed by the views and experience of our partners and stakeholders
- actively engage and empower London's communities in their own economic development
- attain stakeholder buy-in and project support on all levels to help achieve genuine sustainable regeneration
- improve the strength, reputation and profile of the agency through enhanced stakeholder relationships
- attract funding and support for London's priorities from the many other players that are active in furthering London's economic development
- provide leadership in economic regeneration
- learn from others - maximising valuable resources and expertise available
- tap into on the ground realities and produce responsive and representative projects and policies as a result
- fulfil our statutory responsibilities
