Consultation

The London Development Agency (LDA) is committed to listening and learning from its partners and stakeholders to ensure its strategies reflect London's social and economic development needs.

We consult on a wide range of issues, from regional and business sector projects and policies, to London-wide strategies and local regeneration and development plans.

We have a consultation framework to help shape, inform and guide our future work in order to meet the following LDA strategic consultation objectives:

  • achieve high quality decision-making and resource allocation informed by the views and experience of our partners and stakeholders
  • actively engage and empower London's communities in their own economic development
  • attain stakeholder buy-in and project support on all levels to help achieve genuine sustainable regeneration
  • improve the strength, reputation and profile of the agency through enhanced stakeholder relationships
  • attract funding and support for London's priorities from the many other players that are active in furthering London's economic development
  • provide leadership in economic regeneration
  • learn from others - maximising valuable resources and expertise available
  • tap into on the ground realities and produce responsive and representative projects and policies as a result
