Consultation

Consultaion can be defined as:

"Providing effective ways for individuals, partners and other stakeholder groups to understand, become involved in and influence London Development Agency (LDA) decisions and policies that affect them." (Greater London Authority definition)
 
"The dynamic process of dialogue between individuals or groups based on a genuine exchange of views and ideas, normally with the objective of influencing or informing decisions, policies or programmes of action." (Consultation Institutes definition 2007)
