Employment and Skills Update for 2012 The publication for Employment and Skills Update for 2012. The 'Employment and skills update for 2012' is a summary version of the London Development Agency (LDA)'s annual report of employment and skills that was submitted to the London Assembly in January 2008.

Social and economic growth is essential to delivering lasting benefits from the 2012 Games. The LDA, working with partners such as the Learning and Skills Council, Job Centre Plus and London 2012 is implementing a series of initiatives to increase skills levels, decrease worklessness, encourage sports and cultural participation across London.

This document gives a snapshot of some of the work that is currently taking place. A full version of the Assembly Report detailing all of our 2012 Games related skills and employment initiatives is available.
