LDA Investment Strategy Consultation

The consultation period on the LDA Investment Strategy has now closed.

The London Development Agency (LDA), like other Regional Development Agency's and in-line with Government requirement, produces a corporate plan every year.

Blackfriars Bridge  We are seeking to replace our Corporate Plan with the LDA Investment Strategy.

This will outline our goals from April 2008 to March 2012. It marks a change in our approach and takes us towards a more strategic, evidence-based planning process.

The content of the plans are very much evidence and intelligence driven with a focus on ensuring that we best allocated our funds to the areas of great impact and outcomes.

Therefore the content of the strategy will set out:

  • how the LDA works, the allocation of our resources
  • what's needed and what works in our priority areas of delivery
  • what others are doing and how we can leverage those relationships for maximum impact

The main objectives of the LDA Investment Strategy are around the delivery of:

  • objectives in accordance to the Mayoral objectives and priorities
  • outcomes and outputs set by the Mayor and agreed with Central government.

Responses to the consultation

We have received a good number of responses and our team is currently reviewing the points raised and will take them into account when amending the draft for publication.

We will provide a detailed response to all consultees once the redraft is complete at the end of March 2008.
