The LDA under took a consultation from 12 April - 3 May 2006 on the temporary relocation of the Eastway Cycle Circuit to provide an alternative facility in the lead up to and during the 2012 Olympic Games.
The preferred site for the temporary relocation option for Eastway has now been identified as Hog Hill in the London borough of Redbridge.
This decision comes after the close of the three-week consultation on Rammey Marsh in Enfield and Hog Hill in Redbridge, as well as work with London Borough of Redbridge (anticipated operator of the facility) and British Cycling, a key partner in the process who have endorsed the Hog Hill choice.

The LDA has recently submitted a planning application for a new cycle circuit at Rammey Marsh in the London Borough of Enfield.
The consultation period for this application has now closed and a decision will be made by the London Borough of Enfield at the end of April. The application is for a closed road circuit, pavilion, parking and landscaping. The facility will also accommodate some mountain biking and cyclo-cross.
